Observation point Ronse

Uitkijkpunt Ronsec Toerisme Ronse

The eight-metre-long bench is not only a stylish design by Wolters Mabeg, the location itself is also worth visiting. You have a view of the three most beautiful forests in the vast area of the Flemish Ardennes. To the northwest, you can see the Kluisberg, which towers 141 metres over the landscape and accounts for 300 hectares of dazzling nature. To the north the Hotondberg is visible; at no less than 150 metres, it is the highest hill in the Flemish Ardennes. And there, a little further to the northeast, you can discern the contours of the Muziekberg. There’s no ‘muziek’ (music) to be heard there though, the name comes from ‘muz’, a Celtic word for ‘bog’. Three wonderful destinations all within cycling distance; you know immediately where you should go!
